FlashPod™ is a shared portable charging system. Borrow a Power Capsule™, charge your device anywhere, then return it at any FlashPod™ station.
Scan the QR code on a kiosk or use the FlashPod app. Choose your charging option, unlock a Power Capsule™, and plug in. When you’re done, return the capsule to any FlashPod™ station.
Every Power Capsule™ includes USB-C, Lightning, and Micro-USB cables — compatible with nearly all smartphones and small electronics.
Prices vary by location, but typically $1-$3/hour, with a capped daily rate of $6. Your card is charged only for the time used.
You’ll receive a reminder. If not returned within 3 days (72 hours): a flat $30 total will apply — and the Power Capsule™ becomes yours to keep.

Absolutely. Our devices are CE-certified and UN 38.3 compliant for battery safety, designed to meet CSA-equivalent standards for use in Canada.
Absolutely. FlashPod™ uses industry-leading, PCI-DSS Level 1–certified payment systems, the highest standard for card security.
Your payment information is encrypted end-to-end, and our kiosks never see, store, or process your card details at any point.
Only the minimum information needed to operate your rental (such as rental start time, return status, etc.) is stored, and it is encrypted and hosted on secure Canadian servers.
